The lines of South East Manchester Community Rail Partnership cover a wide range of landscapes and serve a variety of communities from the bustling city centre through densely packed urban areas out to the rural Peak District. As such the lines provide invaluable services for commuters and business travellers heading into the cities and towns and some wonderful outdoor leisure opportunities for those heading in the opposite direction.
The three lines also offers plenty of opportunities for days out, whether for shopping, visitor attractions or exploring the countryside.
The aim of the partnership is to represent and support all of the communities touched by the three lines to enable them to get the most benefit from the rail services available and where required represent those communities to help them lobby the rail industry to change services and improve the stations.
The Community Rail Partnership is made up of volunteers that are active at their local stations, why not join us? Make a difference to your community.
